Henry Wellman elected to American Academy of Arts and Sciences (AAAS)
Henry M. Wellman, Research Professor in CHGD and Harold W. Stevenson Collegiate Professor of Psychology was elected as Member to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (AAAS) in 2012.
AAAS is one of the nations most prestigious honorary societies and a leading center for independent policy research. Election to the Academy is both an honor and recognition of Members' extraordinary accomplishments. Members contribute to Academy publications and studies of science and technology policy, energy and global security, social policy and American institutions, the humanities and culture, and education. An induction for new members was held on October 6, 2012 at the AAAS headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
