Staff Recognition: Donna Mulkey Honored for Exceptional Service
2013 OVPR staff recognition award recipients announced
The Office of the Vice President for Research will honor three U-M staff members for outstanding research service. Donna Mulkey will receive the OVPR Exceptional Service Award, and Linda Chadwick and Catherine Seay-Ostrowski will each receive a Distinguished Research Administrator Award.

Center Faculty Receive MCubed Research Funding
MCubed is a two-year seed-funding program designed to empower interdisciplinary teams of University of Michigan faculty to pursue new initiatives with major societal impact. The program minimizes the time between idea conception and successful research results by providing immediate startup funds for novel, high-risk and transformative research projects. The funds are intended to generate data for groundbreaking, high-impact publications, or preliminary results for new, innovative research proposals.
Pam Davis-Kean elected as Fellow of the Association of Psychological Science (APS)
The Association for Psychological Science (APS) announced Fellow status awards for 2013. Among them is UM Associate Professor, Pamela E. Davis-Kean. Pam is a Research Associate Professor in the Center for Human Growth and Development at Michigan. She is also a Research Associate Professor at the Institute for Social Research, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology-Developmental, and serves as Director of the Center for the Analysis of Pathways from Childhood to Adulthood.

Teresa L. Satterfield joins faculty of CHGD
Dr. Teresa L. Satterfield has joined the faculty of CHGD as a Research Associate Professor effective 9/1/2011. She is currently Associate Professor of Romance Linguistics in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and a faculty associate in the Center for the Study of Complex Systems at the University of Michigan.
