Henry Wellman - 2012 G. Stanley Hall Award winner
Henry Wellman has been named the 2012 G. Stanley Hall Award winner for distinguished contributions to developmental psychology.
Henry joins both Arnold Sameroff and Harold Stevenson as CHGD recipients of this prestigious award (as well as John Flavell, Jean Piaget, and Jackie Goodnow as former non-CHGD recipients notable in Developmental Science!). As you know, Henry’s contributions include his research on children's developing social cognitions, as well as his marvelous teaching and mentoring of many, many students and colleagues, and incredible service to the field and to the Center.
